Old Testament Survey 3

Course Overview

This is the third of five Old Testament classes, covering 2nd Kings through Proverbs, which details the end of the kingdoms of Israel and Judah, the rebuilding period after exile, and an introduction to the poetic books such as Job, Psalms, and Proverbs.

Before class, each week you will read the books/chapters of the Bible as well as chapters in the accompanying text, Encountering the Old Testament, and you will turn in a quiz covering the prior week’s material. Your teacher will supplement your readings with a PowerPoint presentation and lecture.
