New Testament Survey

Course Overview

This is a four-part series of classes designed to give students a high-level understanding of the entire New Testament by exploring the history, background, content of its books in order to not only understand the Biblical text but also God’s character and the theme of reconciliation that runs throughout the entire Bible.

Within these four courses, you will a gain a high-level understanding of the entire New Testament. Before every class, you will read books/chapters of the Bible as well as chapters in the accompanying text, Encountering the New Testament. When you arrive, you will turn in the quiz covering the prior week’s materials. Each week, the teacher will supplement your readings with a PowerPoint presentation and lecture.
